Circular building materials
from residual streams
>95% bio-based & circulair
Composed almost entirely of residual streams (calcite, cellulose, Kaumera)
High dimensional stability
Fast drying time, limited shrinkage, and durable curing. Ideal for printing
Cement-free & biodegradable
not suitable for structural use
At Studio Drieday, we are now actively working with Omlab’s innovative material. After a series of successful print tests, we are applying it to a variety of projects. This demonstrates that circular 3D printing is no longer just an experiment, but a concrete part of our practice.
This bio-based and cement-free material is developed from residual streams such as calcite, cellulose, and biopolymers. Thanks to this composition, it is fully circular and biodegradable — without compromising on strength or printability.
With our clay printing technology, we have achieved multiple successful results. The main properties:
- Excellent printability thanks to its homogeneous and stable consistency
- High dimensional stability thanks to fast drying and shrinkage reduction
- Strong and durable curing, making the material widely applicable

For us, this proves that circular 3D printing is not a distant prospect, but already a reality today. The Omlab material opens up new perspectives for both creative and industrial applications.
Curious how this innovative material could enhance your project? Feel free to contact us – together we can explore the possibilities of sustainable 3D printing.
