3D-printed 'Annual Rings' at the EXCELLENT home fair
In collaboration with landscape architect Erik Van Gelder, we present a unique garden concept at the EXCELLENT Home Fair 2025:
Annual Rings
A unique eye-catcher, the 'Annual Rings', was designed on commission from landscape architect Erik van Gelder. Inspired by the growth rings of a tree – a symbol of growth and time – this 3D-printed eye-catcher forms a bridge between natural forms and technology. It is made from a cement-like material and demonstrates how innovative design with traditional construction materials opens up a new, more sustainable world of possibilities for every design enthusiast.

The organic annual rings unfold like layers that embrace the tree. The rings create:
- seating areas at different heights
- plant beds that are seamlessly integrated into the shape
- a strong, inviting focus in the garden
