Printing with lime material from Arte Constructo
Arte Constructo develops high-quality lime materials that are fully natural, sustainable, and circular. Based on pure limestone and free from cement or synthetic additives, these products align perfectly with a forward-looking, bio-ecological building vision.
An important advantage of lime is its breathable and resilient structure: the material is vapor-permeable, contributes to a healthy indoor climate, and can self-heal small cracks. These very properties have made it the standard in restoration projects for decades.
In the meantime, we have also carried out several print tests with this lime material. The results show promising potential for 3D printing applications where heritage techniques and innovation reinforce each other.
